Why Gatsou exists

Gatsou is for the people who treat their pet like family. We were tired of pet care living inside half-broken note apps, lost vaccination booklets, and reminders that never quite arrive. So we built one calm, beautiful place for the small details — weight, food, vet visits, the funny notes you want to remember — and Gatsou, who quietly keeps track of it all.

Who built it

Gatsou is made by a tiny crew that lives with cats and dogs and writes software for a living. We don't have a fancy team page, an investor deck, or grand plans for a marketplace. We just wanted the kind of pet app we'd actually want to open ourselves — slow, warm, on your side.

How we think about your data

Your pet's data belongs to you, full stop. We don't sell it to vets, food brands, insurers, or anyone else, and we don't dress that up as 'partnerships'. We collect what's needed to make the app work, store it carefully, and let you delete it whenever you want. No ads tracking your pet across the internet.

What's coming

We're working slowly and on purpose. Expect more thoughtful tools for everyday care, gentler reminders, and a smarter Gatsou that understands your pet's history. We're not chasing every feature — we'd rather make a small handful of things feel beautifully made than ship a hundred things that feel rushed.
